A multidisciplinary team of 50 University of Calgary students with an Aboriginal Advisory Council created and submitted an inspiring home to this biannual event. Like the Olympic decathlon, the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon is an international competition consisting of 10 contests: Architecture, Market Appeal, Engineering, Communications, Affordability, Comfort Zone, Hot Water, Appliances, Home Entertainment, and Energy Balance.
